About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Vanessa and I'm based in the GTA and London region. I graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2024, but my passion for research and making information accessible took me to pursuing a master's degree in Media Journalism and Communications. Here, I honed my skills in writing and understanding the digital landscape while still honoring my creative spirit. 

I have had the pleasure of working with local businesses within the community from tattoo studios to cafes. Through producing videos, audio news stories and articles,  I have cultivated my experience in both reporting and best digital marketing practices.

In my free time, I love to read, make art, eat good food and consume even more digital media! These days, I especially love going to the movie theatre and drive-in, where I can appreciate great storytelling on the big screen. I'm always on the lookout for a book, game, film, podcast, or TV show that sparks a new idea or perspective
